Oddly enough I could see Lambo doors working pretty well on a zany concept car of the same vintage. When did they start appearing on cars anyways?

Oddly enough, a '48 Packard's hood opens in a way that works well with those doors. '69 Alfa Carabo concept, if Wikipedia is to be believed.
